When first introduced, the Royal Rayburn solid fuel cooker was available in the cook-only and prepared foods using the domestic hot water models. It was also available in only limited colour options. These cookers have one continuous hot plates.
One half of the hot plate is the main plate whereas the other half is only for simmering foods. It also comes with two ovens, one for the main top and the other for warming respectively.
Aside from the core cast iron unit, we replace every other component of the cooker including the baking tray, oven racks, temperature gauge, and door liners.
The Rayburn oven can also sustain your central heating system to support up to 9 radiators depending on the model. While reconditioning the cooker, we also increase the capacity of the boiler to increase up its output to support the central heating requirements effectively. These changes have no effect on the cooking performance of the Rayburn cookers in any way.
Royal Oil and Electric
The oil and electric versions of the Rayburn cookers have been depended upon by generations of users. This has mainly been due to their versatility. Even though the electrically-powered versions are only great for cooking, their solid fuel or oil counterparts may also be utilised for accommodating central heating needs for around 3-to-5 radiators round about your home.
However, electric units are complete and as such do not require any prefabricated or traditional chimney to be able to operate successfully. You can literally install it wherever or whenever you might want- the only pre-condition here being that it has to be no more than 5 meters from an external wall.
