Choosing Your AGA
Country Cookers Cornwall is proud to have one of the largest AGA showrooms in the UK; we have over 250 AGA cookers in stock at any one time. You simply choose the fuel, the flue type. The colour and your stove are custom-made to your requirement. If you need help choosing your AGA, get in contact and we will be happy to help.
Fuel Options
Your reconditioned AGA cooker can be powered by oil or 13 amp electric, whichever suits you best.
Oil
Powered by kerosene, oil is still a popular fuel option, available in traditional or deluxe makes. It needs a 5" flue, either through a chimney or the twin wall system.
13-amp Electric
The electric models are relatively new to Aga, which makes them subject to availability. These do not need a flue at all, simply a 1" vent pipe.
Other Options
Hot Water Boiler
Traditional and deluxe versions in 13-amp electric and oil. All boilers must use an indirect gravity fed system. Less common these days are back boilers, as most modern boilers use a pressurised system instead. The new units are easier to fit and more efficient too.
Integrated Module
We offer an integrated module, with the reconditioned AGA at the bottom, a conventional oven in the middle and a 4 ring electric hob at the top.
Gas or Electric Hob
Alternatively, we can offer a two ring electric hob instead of the warming plate in the deluxe four oven models when people do not want to use the AGA during the summer yet still need extra cooking capacity.
Plinths
Due to the height of an AGA being unalterable using plinths can be vital for fitting purposes. Made from coated steel, the plinths come with two differing height settings.
